I didn’t set out to build a business around Chambers of Commerce — but once I saw their impact up close, I couldn’t walk away.
Early in my career, I worked directly with a small local Chamber. The CEO left a lasting impression on me. She poured everything she had into that organization — rallying businesses, hosting events, and building community with very few resources. Her passion was contagious.
She introduced me to another Chamber that was reeling from something devastating — their internal accountant had stolen over $1 million in COVID relief funds. I helped them recover, rebuild, and put stronger internal controls in place to protect the organization’s future.
Then came a third Chamber — this one torn between keeping their beloved building or selling it just to stay afloat. Every decision was emotional and high-stakes, because the building was more than property — it was a hub for their community and foundation work.
These experiences changed how I saw Chambers. Behind every ribbon cutting and networking mixer are people working tirelessly — often with too few resources and too little recognition — to build thriving communities.
